Valcucine's Approach and Philosophy
Valcucine's vision is to be an ethical company whose production reflects deep care for its users, its employees, the environment and the world community. Ecological and ethical responsibility extends throughout every stage of Valcucine's manufacturing, starting with our green and comfortable work environment, which inspires the invention of safe process with no toxic emissions, all the way through to industrial waste recycling. Valcucine is committed to producing 100% recyclable kitchens made of 100% recycle materials. The continuous search for technological and aesthetic solutions, to reconcile Humanity and Nature, leads us to materials and design with a fresh beauty that works for the 21st century.

Responsible manufacturing
Valcucine is the first Italian Kitchen manufacturer which subjects its products to rigorous German industry testing (GS). Cabinet carcasses are constructed of F**** chipboard (low formaldehyde) and are P3 water resistant. Our dedication to eco-friendly production has earned Valcucine UNI EN ISO 14001 certificate.

Support for the environment
Valcucine founded Bioforest, an independent, not-for profit organization devoted to environmental protection in the Amazon basin, reforestation, and educational programs around the world. Through the reforestation supported by Bioforest, Valcucine achieved to balance its CO2 yearly output.

Magica Purezza
Artematica Vitrum interprets the quality of one of the most fascinating and ecological materials ever created by Man: glass. Just like skillful glassworkers used to look for metaphysical properties in the purest and most perfect mass of glass, Valcucine has designed Artematica Vitrum with extreme care down to the smallest of detail.

Like a Diamond
To increase the resistance and durability of the worktop, Valcucine has perfected a new glass treatment that, thanks to nanotechnology, applies carbon molecules to the glass surface. Thanks to this treatment, the glass becomes almost as hard as diamond and easier to clean because the surface is less porous. The new glass will be available from 2010.

New Noce Tattile: the soul of wood
Valcucine, in the spirit of contemporary formal rigour, has create the Noce Tattile kitchen that, by means of the texture of wood and the feel of its surfaces, inverts the cold dominating trend of interior design and walks a new path towards a warmer and more natural product.

Warmth and Technology
The wooden kitchen with a technological heart. The new Walnut finish combines with technological research of the aluminum frames, carbon-finish drawer sides and glass base unit carcasses. Tradition and innovation blend harmoniously to interpret the requirements of the 21st century human habitat in the best possible way.

The Alessi kitchen system will make you feel good. Not only because it is designed with the latest technology in mind, including in-built energy-saving features and following ergonomic principles, but because its aesthetic was the result of research into design evoking emotional responses, and how it does so.

Curved lines create the poetry inherent in Lacucinaalessi, and make up the over-all motif used throughout the project, giving it life and contributing to its enveloping, sinuous and dynamic sense.

Beyond that, these rounded edges make the kitchen safer for children and help create a relaxed and happy atmosphere. Plus, this kitchen is produced with materials that respect the strictest standards on the emission of formaldehyde. The wooden and glass elements are coated with water-based varnishes that drastically reduce the emissions of solvents and completely eliminate cancer-inducing aromatic solvents.

All colorants used do not contain heavy metals, including extremely toxic lead. All glass parts are tempered for very high resistance and safety.

As a result of its innovations, Lacucinaalessi has been awarded the GS German quality and safety mark.

Valcucine honors the Green Good Design Award 2010

Valcucine has received another important acknowledgement: the GREEN GOOD DESIGN AWARD for the Invitrum 100% system, the first fully recyclable glass base unit with recycled aluminium parts and a single, 10 mm thick, structural side panel. This product fully expresses Valcucine's philosophy, i.e. that of a company whose work method is based on a system that balances the use and the restoration of environmental resources and that saves on raw materials by favouring a design focused on dematerialisation, recyclability and the reutilisation of products at the end of their lifespan.
